Digitale Kollaborationsplattformen

Es gelingt Organisationen vielfach nicht, die synergistischen Potenziale ihrer Arbeitnehmerschaft voll zu erschließen. Zugleich entstehen, angetrieben durch die voranschreitende Digitalisierung in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, neue Herausforderungen in der Zusammenarbeit von Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern. Diese gilt es zu meistern, um langfristig wettbewerbsfähig zu sein. Intra-organisationale Kollaborationsplattformen bieten hierfür die technologische Grundlage für einen interdisziplinären, hierarchieübergreifenden Austausch von Individuen in Organisationen.

Ziel des Projekts ist, eine holistische Perspektive auf die Nutzung von Kollaborationsplattformen zu werfen und die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Mensch und System zu beachten. Es wird aus Perspektive der Organisation, der Psychologie sowie der Mensch-Computer-Interaktion erforscht.

Digital Collaboration Platforms

In many cases, organizations are not succeeding in fully tapping the synergistic potential of their workforce. At the same time, driven by advancing digitization in economy and society, new challenges are emerging in employee collaboration. It is essential to master these in order to be competitive in the long term. Intra-organizational collaboration platforms provide the technological basis for an interdisciplinary, cross-hierarchical exchange of individuals in organizations.

The aim of the project is to take a holistic perspective on the use of collaboration platforms and to consider the interactions between human and system. There will be research from the perspective of organization, psychology, as well as human-computer interaction.
